Team Knockout Competition: 2023/2024 Season

The Team Knockout Competition is open to all teams in all sections of the Kirkburton Pool League.  Entry is free and prizes are awarded to the winners and runners-up in the form of individual trophies for each team member, (up to 8) and a winners trophy which is held until the next season's competition has been completed.

Matches are played in the same format as league matches, i.e. 6 singles and 3 doubles, however the first team to get 5 points is the winner and the remaining games need not be played.  Early rounds are played at the venue drawn first, however Semi-finals and Finals are played at neutral venues and may have an independent referee.

For Semi-finals and Finals captains can write their players down on the scoresheet one at a time  and give it to the referee who will then call the matches.

Usually the 60 second rule will apply to Semi-finals and Finals when there is an independent referee on hand to administer it.

Quarter Finals - 7th Feb
